ReduzCO₂ is a reforestation initiative that restores the Tropical Dry Forest in Colombia, planting native wood and fruit trees. We offer tree sponsorships to individuals and companies that wish to compensate their carbon footprint and contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, restoration of ecosystems and the sustainable development of local communities.

FLORA

Cattle pastures converted into silvopastural ecosystems

What was once just pasture now blooms with life.

We’ve transformed former grazing lands into vibrant silvopastoral ecosystems by planting hundreds of native trees — including cedars, ceibas, mahogany, orejeros, and campanos — that provide shade, food, and shelter for biodiversity. Each tree helps capture carbon and restore the natural balance of the tropical dry forest.

FAUNA

We protect what already exists

In addition to planting trees, we protect areas of primary forest — home to an incredible diversity of life: sloths, anteaters, armadillos, deer, native and migratory birds, insects, and amphibians. Every corner is a vital refuge that we are committed to defending.

Colombia is a strategic point along the migratory routes of birds across the continent, and our forests serve as essential stopovers for their rest and survival.

COMUNIDAD

Education, employment and love for the trees

We train our workers to value trees as key elements in:

  • Soil preservation
  • Biodiversity conservation
  • Climate mitigation

The trees we’ve planted are more than an environmental solution — they are a symbol of a mindset shift in rural communities.
